Redsn0w 0.9.7b4 for iOS 4.2.1 Released
The iPhone Dev team has released the Redsn0w 0.9.7b4 untethered jailbreak for the iOS 4.2.1 devices but the bad news is that the jailbreak comes with a beta version so the testers can try the new version only with their iDevices.
The fourth Beta version for jailbreak is now available for testing and there is no need to install and run a separate program for usbmux in this version. The company has fixed a race condition in the version’s GUI which causes the redsn0w to crash the “Preparing JB Monte Files” step.
There are still some issues (like Bluetooth and Skype) in the Fourth beta jailbreak and there are no changes on the iPhone side. The Redsn0w 0.9.7, windows 7 version will be released in the next update and this version will help the windows user to test their tool on their computers.
This is absolute bullshit. Every morning I’ve woken up this week And every day I wake up to NO fucking jailbreak 4.2.1 for windows on redsn0w, seriously.. How long does it really take.
@rigidity stop acting like 10 year old, i’m sooo sick of hearing ungreatful wankers constantly whinging about something they have no idea about! people really need to learn a bit of patience and gratitude, these guys don’t spend hour after hour of their time putting this software together for people like you to constantly throw a tantrum just because you were obviously raised as spoilt little shit!! the reason it takes so long, is because there are still bugs in the software that they are trying to fix, so everyone (including the ungreatful pricks) has a bug free iphone!! i’m sure if they hurried the release, you would most likely be one of the first to complain because your bluetooth or gps isn’t working..!! *rolls eyes*
@kerode I am assuming you have a mac and this update for windows doesn’t bother you because you already have your jailbreak working. I agree with rigidity… I, too, have woken up every morning just to be disappointed from false promises. I hate apple, and the only reason I bought an iPod was to jailbreak it…
If apple was a such a great company, there would be no need for jailbreaks in the first place…. @@
I dont have a mac and im being patient there is a teathered jail break that works just fine for ios 4.2.1 so yeah dont be an imature little shit

First off I don’t have a Mac so I too am waiting for the Windows version but unlike you two whinners I have patience. I don’t understand why you two want this rushed out. First off do you have to pay for the jailbreak??? Ummm No!!! Did you even think that maybe they are waiting for the 4.3 update? Which would be fine with me. Have some patience and stop acting like a 2 year old who doesn’t get their way. Also AppleSmack if you bought a iPod just to jailbreak it in the first place then you are an idiot

For those who complain about not having a jailbreak for windows, if you idiots don’t know there has been a tethered jailbreak for 4.2.1 since Christmas. You idiots probably are too stupid to even know how to use that’s why your complain like a serious cunt. I’m using it right now for iPod 4g . And it works fine. Just don’t let it iPod die and ou won’t have any problems. The dev team is required to make a jailbreak, if you can’t wait for the treat then go make your own damn jailbreak and see how “easy” it is. Idiots I sware.
