Three new THX certified AV Receivers from Onkyo

7 June 2010 No Comment

Onkyo has three new THX certified AV receivers namely TX-NR1008, TX-NR808, and TX-NR708. These AV receivers are all a set of connections with DLNA 1.5, feature HDMI 1.4a which satisfies all 3D needs of the users. The well-known Faroudja DCDi Cinema scaler will operate on even least quality video. All the three AV receivers have mulit-room potential. But, only the TX-NR1008 has amplifiers to control the three rooms. The 808 can do two and the 708 just outputs for the second sector. The big boy is the only source to have ISF video calibration controls tuning for every other source. Onkyo will start distributing all three AV receivers in July. The cost will range from $899 for TX-NR708 to $1399 for TX-NR1008.
