The results of the ‘I Love Football’ competition have been selected by the New Zealand public.

The contest was held as a part of a global World Cup contest. This was held for Kiwi kids between 4 and 17 suitable to enter a soccer-themed take on Google’s iconic logo.

There were ten finalists and one among the ten was announced as a winner last week. The winner was a 13-year-old girl Holly Pierce.

This kid has secured about a quarter of all online votes and her entry will be the logo of Google on New Zealand home page when the New Zealand soccer team, also known as All whites play their match against Slovakia on June 15.

This kids’ doodle will also be sent to the worldwide competition which is being participated by all countries. This winner’s doodle will be displayed on Google’s homepage in July for a whole day.
