Nokia N8 suffering out of manufacturing problems

29 November 2010 No Comment

The delayed Nokia N8 handset started shipping at the end of the September but now some N8 handsets are turning off and not getting on after charging. On Thursday Nokia reported in a post that they identified a manufacturing defect in the handset and they promise to replace the affected phones.

According to Niklas Savander, executive vice president of Nokia states that the issues are covered by the handset warranty and the affected handset users can approach the Nokia customer care centers.

He also reported that the issue is based on the way Nokia assembled the main board of the device which contains the basic electronics and radio frequency components.
