HP Slate 500 sees ‘extraordinary demand

16 November 2010 One Comment

Hewlett-Packard officially announced that they find their new release of HP Slate 50 running on Windows Phone 7 to be unusually “on demand”, which is much more than expected or irrefutable.

The resultant effect is that you will not be getting another piece shipped with not less than six weeks delay, unless your business and corporate office has ordered them on day one of release. Those prior orders might arrive in time as planned in early December, while HP seemed to be taken back by the surprisingly and interestingly higher number of orders.

With the limited number of planned and expected sales from HP was 5, 000 units, the order numbers that has been confirmed as of now are 9, 000 units. So, HP has decided to re-hire some more workers to meet the demand and get the product finished for shipping. Apologies from HP lucky customers who have made late orders will get a rebate off $100 for the delay expected.
