Samsung Galaxy S Overtakes iPhone 4 in Japan

The Japanese market research firm BCN has released a new estimate on Thursday which states that the Samsung Galaxy S is the #1 smartphone in Japan. The firm displaces the Apple’s 32GB iPhone 4 which was at the top of the Japan’s smartphone chart as iPhone 4 was the top seller in Japan for the past 18 weeks.

HTC Legend getting Android 2.2 Froyo in ‘coming weeks’

HTC has made an announcement via twitter and facebook that the Android 2.2 update is on progress and will be available in the coming weeks. HTC broke its silence and states that the unbranded legend handset user can receive the update but the carrier branded handset user have to wait for a long.

Bell has published a document with the details about the plan of releasing Samsung Galaxy Tab on November 12th. The Samsung Galaxy Tab is powered by the Android 2.2 operating system which is perfect for displaying the Bell’s premium content.

T-Mobile’s Samsung Galaxy Tablet available for preorder at Amazon

Samsung that was hooked up with Verizon for their Galaxy tab is out in the market for $599, while the T-mobile version of Samsung’s Android 2.2 tab has been tagged for a price of $699.99 in Benjamin’s and in Amazon.com. Amazon was not able to get them on an unsubsidized rate.
However, the tabs will be in store with T-mobile only by November 10th, and not lately, probably with promos, offers and deals.

Samsung Galaxy Tablet coming to US Cellular

Samsung is trying to make hay while the sun shines!
Finding that their new tablet launch, Samsung Galaxy Tab, has hit the market in style with sales rocking the market and reaching targets, they were able to get hold of a fifth mobile carrier inline to work in consensus with them, and they are the US Cellular.

Acer has finally been successful in releasing their sleek Liquid Metal handset with a few leaks and escaping gossip.

LG Optimus Quantum on November 8th via Bell Mobility

BGR is reporting that some of the reliable sources have informed that Bell Mobility will launch the LG Optimus Quantum on November 8th but still BGR reports that the date is not a confirmed one. HTC Wildfire coming to North America

HTC has announced via a Press Release that the HTC Wildfire phone will be available in the regional carriers of North America starting Q4 2010. So which means it may hit anytime in the first 3 months of 2011. There is no word about the pricing of the phone, to know more hit the source link.
