Huawei launches Cheap Android 2.2 Froyo Handset

The famous Berlin Firm Huawei has announced today that the company will launch an affordable Android 2.2 Froyo handset Ideos. This will feature a 2.8 inch touchscreen powered by a 528 MHz processor with 3.2 MP camera. The price of the device is just awesome $175 without any contract. Sounds great isn’t t?
Some of the other features of the phone are 3G, Wi-fi and other normal smartphone features. The device is expected to hit the market by October but no clue about the US availability.

Bell to launch BlackBerry Torch 9800

BlackBerry Torch is going to rock this summer in the US which is known but it now seems that the device will hit Canada via Bell starting September 24th. The company has released an official press release which says the same. The device will be priced at $199 after a 3 year contract and at $599 without any contract. So by this Bell joins the club of BB Torch companies.

Swype coming to Symbian S60 5th edition devices

Today Nokia has announced that the Swype will be available to all Symbian S60 5th edition devices which will be expanded further more depending upon the user reviews. The Swype is currently available in the following handsets, N97, N97 mini, 5800, X6 and 5230 Nokia handsets.
Nokia has said that “Nokia and Swype are working hard to integrate the application in all the devices and Nokia will be happy to hear the user feedback in the forth coming weeks.”

Apple makes iOS 4.1 official

Apple has released a keynote that the iOS 4.1 Beta is getting official which will include Game Center, Bug fixes and support for HDR Photos as well. HDR Photos are looking great in the upgrade and the results are really good with nice contrast. HDR photos are nothing but taking photos in succession at different levels. Motorola MILESTONE 2 to hit Europe

Motorola has announced that the Milestone 2 will be available in the Europe starting from Q4 of 2010. The device will ship with an 8GB Micro SD card.
